Hi everyone. First, thank you very much to all of you that have shown us support, goodwill and love since we reformed.
As you all know it’s been a really terrible time for everyone involved in the music industry, unfortunately we’ve been affected by it as much as everyone else, and sadly, it’s come to the point that we feel we need to cancel the upcoming tour.
The uncertainty has been throwing a major spanner in the works for making it happen the way we wanted it to.
We’ve decided to come back with new music which will definitely be followed by a tour once we are all out at the other end of these strange and stressful days.
We’d like to sincerely thank all the venues we were due to play, thank you to all of them for their patience and perseverance, we wish them all the best for the months ahead. We’re really looking forward to the day we can play a show for you all again.
We’ve both been busy doing solo projects, Willie’s album is out already with a run of new singles planned for next year, he’s contributing to the Between Islands project album. Charlie’s Eagerly awaited album on It’s Creation23 is due for release in March with his first single coming in January.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all things Astrid related on this page, live streams are in the pipeline so keep an eye out for those dates.
Thanks also to our agent Craig Wylie for all his hard work and insight at an incredibly challenging time and to Tam Coyle for his support and advice. We’re working with some great people, we’re so looking forward to getting underway again properly. Keep in touch folks and stay safe.
